Field Team Leader
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting and monitoring daily activities of site management, i.e. new arrival, registration, service assistance, relocation, camp care and maintenance, and report Site Manager on the activities conducted in daily basis.
- Engage with refugee community and sub-groups for their participation in site level activities.
- Facilitate community meetings and other form of participatory approaches such cash for work in relation to site level care and maintenance activities, focus group discussions, key informant interviews and safety audit/mapping.
- Support to produce relevant documentation (attendance sheet, agenda, meeting minutes in English, Bangali and local language as required).
- Support the Field officer in rolling out a community-based complaint and feedback mechanism at site level.
- Support to map on a regular basis community group, refugee governance structures, population representatives and other community leaders in the camp.
- Support to collect information related to the services provided by international and national humanitarian partners as well as relevant national authorities.
- Support the development and setting up of noticeboards, site plans and other communication materials used at site level.
- Lead team of volunteers in charge of regular activities of site management and keep their daily work record.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements
- Experience with a humanitarian organization is a plus, and particularly experience in the field of communication
- Good communication skill, organizational and reporting skills.
- Fluency in English and Bangla is required (oral and written).
- Fluency in Chittagonian Language
