What success looks like in this role:

Skills Required:

Strong software testing experience on client/server, java/j2ee, web based applications and system software products.

Experience in Product testing and Systems Engineering and thinking

Must have software security testing skills and tools used.

Web Application security testing, Vulnerability Assessment, penetration testing and generating reports using tools

Application and Network security testing using tools like Burp Suite, Paros, AppScan, Wireshark, NMap, Nessus.

Certification: Certified Ethical Hacker would be great advantage.

Must have very good knowledge on networking concepts(ccna certification is an added advantage), LDAP

Should be highly skilled in testing the enterprise applications. Must have hands on exposure on testing \u00A0Front end UI , Web services testing(REST/SOAP),Backed end applications and nonfunctional testing

Hands on experience in Black box testing, System testing, and functional testing.

Experience in writing test cases and test plans and have deeper understanding of various test case design techniques.

Experience in programming skills and or c/c++, Java, python, perl.

Experience with automated software testing programs.

Should have good hands on OS skills, on Windows, Linux and Unix operating systems.

Hands on experience in any Automation tools like, Coded-UI, Selenium, Apium (mobile testing automation) etc,

Should have good understating of Agile Scrum, JIRA, Zephyr or any test management tool, Any Defect management tool.

Analytical mind with strong attention to detail.

Have ability to mentor and coach test engineers.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

CSTE, ISTQB \Good to have test certifications

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Qualification

B.E / M.E in computer science/software engineering

Involve in Inspections / reviews

Test environment setup

Test case creation

Manual Test case execution

Defect logging and verification

Issues resolution / Problem solving with relevant stakeholders

Working with Test Automation tools

Adherence to project processes

Test reporting and metrics
