We are in search of an exceptionally skilled Senior WordPress Developer with a knack for speed optimization, performance, and custom plugin development. Your main role will be converting UI designs and static HTML into high-performance WordPress themes and developing custom plugins from scratch, adhering to the latest industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Develop custom WordPress plugins and themes from scratch.

Convert UI designs and static HTML to WordPress themes, ensuring a seamless and responsive design across all platforms.

Ensure the high performance and speed of our websites, with optimal PageSpeed Insights scores and minimal TTFB (Time To First Byte) values.

Ensure that themes and plugins are SEO-optimized, follow web standards, and employ the best practices for website performance.

Conduct comprehensive testing for speed and performance of themes and plugins across various browsers and devices.

Continually optimize our themes and plugins by refining code and implementing advanced techniques to enhance performance.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, focusing on custom plugins and speed-optimized, high-performance themes.

Deep understanding of web performance optimization, caching, and SEO.

Expert knowledge of PHP and SQL, with experience in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.

Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.

Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Proven experience with performance testing tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTMetrix, and WebPageTest.

Experience with other backend technologies beyond PHP will be a significant advantage.
