Assistant Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting Project Managers and/or Superintendents in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, document control and quality standards are met. Under the direction of the PM, the Assistant Project Manager is expected to take on any/all tasks in a quest to learn all he/she can about SDLC.   

Responsibilities:

  1. Gain familiarity with the plans, specifications, and scope of each project managed.
  2. Work with the Project Manager to manage financial aspects of projects to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain a good relationship with the customer.
  3. Manage project documentation (RFIs, work plans, change orders, etc.).
  4. Collaborate with PM to establish objectives.
  5. Monitor project progress with respect to both financial and schedule performance, and control projects.
  6. Alert PM of unsatisfactory project performance and potential problems, investigate, and develop correction plan(s).
  7. Manage project performance data and formulate progress reports as requested by PM and organization executives.
  8. Good communication skills.
  9. Ability to work under pressure. 

Requirements:

  1. Acquainted with, e.g. Jira, Confluence, GitLab, ASANA 
  2. Basic knowledge of Big data, Cloud, AI or Machine Learning technologies is a plus 
  3. Years of Experience: 3 plus year 
  4. Qualification: Bachelors in Computer science
