- Can speak equally good English, Urdu and Punjabi.
- Research local community, state, national and international current events.
- Revise scripts and prepare to deliver them on-air.
- Interpret and present news stories so that viewers or listeners can better understand them.
- Present the news to viewers in a professional, calm, and friendly manner.
- Ensure their appearance properly represents the face of the network.
- Participate in researching and writing news stories.
