Graphic Designer

Responsibilities:

Managing proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production.

Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, websites and others.

Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size.

Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.

Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.

Developing design briefs that suit the client's purpose.

Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design.

Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.

Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers.

Working with a range of media, including computer-aided design (CAD) and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.

Commissioning illustrators and photographers.
