Trainee Software Developer

The Position:

The division is looking to hire Intern/ Fresh Graduate to be a member of its R&D team. The selected candidate would progress from training to apprenticeship, to potentially a full-time permanent employment role in the Contour Software Lahore/Islamabad office, working as part of the resource-centre team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for software development and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. As a trainee developer, you will work closely with our experienced team members to develop and maintain desktop applications using C# and transition them into browser-based applications. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills in T-SQL for stored procedures and related tasks. Knowledge of C++ is considered advantageous.

Requirements:

· Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

· Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

· Familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, VB.NET, and T-SQL

· Basic knowledge of ASP.NET is a plus.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
