Social Media Coordinator

The purpose of the job is to design social and print media posts, worksheets, website material, edit videos, etc. for Darul Madinah Islamic Education School (DMIES) around the world.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direct supervision of the Line Manager, the incumbent will perform the following duties:

Work with the media and communication team to understand the design needs and objectives of the school

Create original and attractive graphics, layouts, and animations for various media platforms and formats

Perform tasks like designing worksheets, social media posts, teaching resources, website designing, etc.

Edit and enhance photos, videos, and audio files using editing software

Ensure consistency and quality of design across all media channels and products

Follow the school's branding guidelines and style guides

Review and revise designs based on feedback and suggestions

Maintain and update the design portfolio and archive. Also, operate social media platforms.

Research and stay updated on the latest design trends and tools

Participate in professional development and training opportunities

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, media, or related field

Exposure to design principles and techniques

Exposure to graphic design software and tools (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

Exposure to video and audio editing software and tools (such as Premiere, After Effects, Audacity, etc.)

Exposure to web design and development tools (such as HTML, CSS, WordPress, etc.)

Exposure to Islamic education and culture

3-5 years of relevant experience in graphic design, media, or related field.

Certification or diploma in graphic design, media, or related field preferred
