Civil Engineer
Responsibilities
- Manage the tasks and activities of subordinate civil staff and make sure they perform their duties as per instructions and assigned JD’s.
- Supervise all civil works including supervision of other Designers/Drafters activities.
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of the tasks performed at site.
- Operate computer assisted engineering & design software to perform engineering tasks.
- To understand and review shop drawings. Also brief the specifications of client’s drawing and forward quotation to the vendor.
- Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment and/or the solicitations of labor.
- Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
- Attend and participate in Client meetings.
- Perform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take and verify measurements within project area.
- To prepare the work done reports of Site on daily, weekly and monthly bases.
- To Assist the Project Manager in coordination, documentation and correspondence.
- To prepare the work done reports of Site on daily, weekly and monthly bases and report and discrepancies in the achieved targets.
- Oversee project construction efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.
