Edward Milton is a growing & expanding company looking for a WordPress Developer to join our passionate, agile and creative team in Lahore.

Job Description

You'll need to have a strong understanding of core programming, but also be handy with front-end technologies to ensure an optimal user experience.

Solid problem-solving skills needed for this job.

Knowledge of source and version control tools will be plus.

Required Skills:

A minimum 2-year experience of PHP programming, MySQL, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript, Bootstrap.

Extensive knowledge and experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & de-facto standard plugins.

Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level+

Must be able Troubleshoot Technical SEO Errors which became a barrier for top listing.

Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions

Creation of custom post types

Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with the WordPress coding standards

Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code

Theme/Template integration

Knowledge of WordPress Network (Multisite) beneficial

Experience creating multi-lingual websites would be plus

Knowledge and experience of web accessibility

Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser

PHP5, MySQL5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
