Job Description

Handling procurement of capital goods, local goods/services/material at plant site and timely arrangement of critical material with close coordination with end user and store

Handling spends on local technical/mechanical consumables, safety and lab item consumables and technical/engineering equipment goods/services

Manage the purchasing of lab items

Preparation of Request for Quotations (RFQs)

Ensuring the quality of goods and services should be as per end user specifications and negotiating with vendors on prices and commercial terms to generate maximum benefit for the company

Co-ordinating with SCM head office team, plant accounts/Finance department for timely release of payments as per agreed terms and conditions of purchase order
