Technical Writer

Job Description

We are looking for technical writers to write our digital products documentation and help guide for the end users. Moreover, the candidate will be responsible to write blogs/articles on technology latest happenings relevant to our niche.

Responsibilities

Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation

Study product samples and communicate with product designers and developers to gain maximum out of it

Work with technical staff to make products easier to use and exchange proper instructions

Organize and write supporting documents for products

Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users’ understanding

Select appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals or online videos

Standardize content across platforms and media

Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers

Revise documents as new issues arise

Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applicationsCreate and maintain the information architecture

Skills

Proven working experience in technical writing

Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to details

Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures

Excellent writing skills in English

Easy to understand English without any grammatical/vocabulary mistakes

University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
