SQA Engnieer

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product management and development teams to drive quality through all stages of SDLC
• Design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications
• Hands-on authoring of test cases and test code combined with test execution
• Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities
• Design, develop and maintain test programs including test tools and automated test suites
• Execute manual (ad hoc), automated and benchmarking test cases
• Execute planned testing tasks and provide timely and accurate analysis of findings
• Utilize analytical skills in determining the root cause of problems
• Demonstrate the ability to multitask and reprioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements
• Provide functional reviews in related areas of expertise
• Communicate or present to the whole product team and occasionally across products
• Interact with and influence other groups on same product and cross product groups.
• Responsible for designing and developing automated tools or frameworks for highly optimized and effective test coverage
• Ensure testability in product features and measure code coverage data regularly
• Utilize innovative test technologies to develop product's testing strategy
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting in variety of local and remote testing environments as well as in the field as required.
• Perform scalability and performance testing simulating real life environments through automated/white-box techniques
• Work with a Scrum agile software engineering framework with the principles of test early, test often
• Meet agreed standards and best practices

Skills/Qualifications

• 2+ Years of experience in .NET, .NET Framework 4.0/3.5/2.0/1.1, ASP.NET, C#/VB.NET Programming, SDLC, PDLC, Agile, SCRUM, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Enterprise Development, Visual Studio 2008-2012, UML, Use Cases, Software Quality Assurance , SQL, TSQL, Software Testing, Regression Testing, White and Black box testing, Team Player, Analytical, Deadline-Oriented, Time Management, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Productivity, Verbal Communication.
