Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, this is a varied position suiting someone with good hands-on IT knowledge and practical management experience in a wide variety of assets.
The position requires a willingness to travel and provide support to remote work locations across the APY Lands.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of and/or experience in administration and implementation of IT, assets and corporate support policies, procedures and systems.
Demonstrated administration and records management skills (physical and electronic).
Very good computer literacy, including use of MS office suite (Outlook, WORD, Excel, Power Point) and dedicated use database programs.
Demonstrated IT skills such as ability to set up computers and fault find IT faults.
Demonstrated and effective verbal and written communication skills, including dealing with persons not fully computer literate.
Demonstrated customer service focus.
Demonstrated and effective problem-solving skills and ability to work unsupervised, and at times under pressure and to competing timelines.
Ability to take professional responsibility for assigned work and deliver such to a high standard.
Understanding of insurance matters and processes, including claims handling.
