Senior SQA Engineer (Automation)

Develop test cases and automated scripts by understanding the project scope documents

Execute automated scripts. Perform failure analysis to determine the root cause of failure

Learn product functionality as needed to build product regression scripts

Work closely with the BAs, QAs and development teams to resolve application issues

Prepare weekly progress reports

Ability to work under pressure and diversified working environment.

Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.

Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.

Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.

Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.

Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.

Designing and installing software databases.

Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.

Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.

Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer

White Box, Black Box, Regression, Penetration, Integration and Load testing for Web and ERP applications

Working knowledge of version control tools e.g. GIT

Strong query writing skills in relational databases e.g. MSSQL, MySQL

Strong working experience of Automation tools e.g. Selenium and JMeter

Experience working in a collaborative environment and working knowledge of project management tools e.g JIRA

Sound communication skills (verbal and written)

Professional experience of developing QA artifacts e.g. test plans, test cases, issue logs, UAT reports etc.

Strong experience of API testing tools e.g. Postman
