Network / Security Engineer
Responsibilities
- Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
- Investigating faults in the network.
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
- Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
- Penetration testing and closer of open points identified in pen test.
- Should have strong command on NMS.
- Should be we aware of Corporate Data Encryption.
- Ability to structure and draft technical documentation and network equipment inventory management.
- Ability to work well within a team Methodical and disciplined approach to work Good analytical skills.
