Essential Requirements:
Master’s in social sciences/Statistics
Having 5 to 8 years experience
Responsibilities:
MONITORING for Quality Assurance, to learn about the ALP sector activities & results, to support internal planning and development, and to ensure accountability to the stakeholders.
MANAGERIAL FUNCTIONS:
Planning for monitoring and evaluation
Conduct in-depth and analytical monitoring
Conduct structured evaluations
Using the findings from monitoring and evaluations to learn, and improve, as well as present findings in the form of narrative reports
Ensure the quality implementation of the PIU’s set standards and criteria for ALP Sector
Ensure that all stakeholders working/plan to work in the NFE/ALP sector must obtain NOC from the E&SED KP
OPERATIVE FUNCTIONS:
To advance the strategic and developmental agenda of the PIU through monitoring, reporting, and recommending corrective measures on the implementation targets and evaluating key programs
To strengthen institutional performance through regular monitoring, evaluation and support / recommendations
To facilitate integrated short, medium to long term planning and policy coherence in support of implementation of the National Development Plan and government program
Improved implementation of programs through monitoring and reporting on outcomes, improved data access, coverage, quality, analysis and dissemination across the Directorate.
Improved planning and implementation of policies, procedures and programs.
Undertake research, studies, and surveys to assess the needs and requirements of an area for extending scope of its activities and disseminate information in respect thereof;
Ensure a functional set up is in place for receiving, registering, managing and analyzing data related to Literacy and NFE Centres
