Network Engineer

We immediately require candidate for the position of “network engineer” with 2- 3 years of experience in networking / system administration preferably in software development industry.

This position will be responsible to assist team lead in installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of internet/network hardware and software.

• Analyze the processes and recommend improvements.
• Hands on experience on cisco switches l2, l3 and firewalls.
• Monitor and analyze systems performance and perform capacity planning activities, test data and recommend hardware or software for purchase.
• Security event monitoring & assessment.
• Should have knowledge in remote management.
• Perform routine monitoring and maintenance of network infrastructure
• Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.

Skills:

• Basic networking protocols. (ip, icmp, snmp, wmi, vlans, switching, routing
• Showing persistence, perseverance, and determination
• Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in overcoming challenging situations
• Showing resolve in searching for alternative solutions to problems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Nms (solarwinds/zabbix/nagios/junos etc)
