Job Description of Business Development Officer
Is to identify sales leads , pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.
This role revolves around good communication and so your duties are likely to include:
Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings to generate Sales in the designated area/territory in the out field.
Communicating products and Business Website to prospective clients.
Market insight / Competitive analysis
Providing management with market feedback
Daily Market Visit Report (MVR) with Business Cards/Details of the clients visited in the field.
Build strong relationships with customers, outside business contacts, and company stakeholders
Review and communicate proposals and cost estimates to customers and stakeholders
Negotiate timelines and budgets
Develop and test unique business strategies and concepts
Collaborate with colleagues and peers on the sales, marketing, and product development teams to improve overall customer experience and satisfaction
Stay up to date on company best practices, policies, products, pricing, and promotions
Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship
Will be spending 90% time in the market to generate sales
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree.
1 years’ experience working in a sales business role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Great leadership skills.
Top-notch analytical skills — you must have an eye for detail!
The ability to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed.
Must have Android mobile and Motorbike
Must be proficient in Browsing internet on mobile and able to use android applications.
