Retail Payments Channel Executive - Financial Services

Position Related:

As working in Retail Payments team, you will share P&L responsibility of the overall business. Your major responsibilities will include growing the business thorugh partnerships with 3rd parties working in the same domain, carrying out marketing campaigns to boost usage, transactions and revenue and also ensure neccessary system developments to effeciently support the business

Goals

• Assist management with managing strategic partners for retail payments
• P&L responsibility for retail payments including key KPIs
• Business growth through effective design and coordination for market campaigns with the team
• Bring key/chain merchants on board retail payments in close coordination with partners
• Drive and manage all strategic partnerships for retail payments including negotiating commercials with potential partners and vendors
• Ensure prioritization and timely execution of the strategic projects for retail payments
• Ensure development of robust technical solutions and systems to support key goals
• On-time, to-cost, and of-quality execution and improvements of all retail payments projects
• Managing partners end to end ensuring successful business agreements, robust processes and sound integrations

Your Typical day at work:

• Liaison with partners to ensure business growth for retail payments
• Build and raise business requirements to improve integrations with key partners
• Design effective campaigns to improve business at partner merchants in close coordination with cross functional teams
• Work closely with marketing teams to plan, design and execute marketing campaigns for different customer segments
• Work with key partners or merchants to run customer centric campaigns alongside internal teams
• Secure approvals and go-aheads from management for new partnerships and business development initiatives
• Develop business cases for partnerships, integrations and business development initiatives
• Hands-on project management and execution whilst ensuring quick turnaround, within cost, quality, scope
• Building and raise business requirements for developments which support goals for the year
• Secure compliance approvals and go-aheads for new products and business processes
• Working with the Product Development, Technical, Products, S&D, S&P, Tameer Bank, CRD teams for product developments
• Developing, implementing and monitoring processes for all products
• Carrying out regular business analysis along with providing recommendations for the retail payments business
• Tackle any day-to-day operations related to retail payments

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• Undergraduate from a reputable university, however MBA will be preferred

Workexperience:

• Solid demonstrable strategic project management experience in Telecom and/or Financial Services
• Holistic knowledge and understanding of Branchless Banking
• Strong background in carrying out customer facing marketing campaigns
• Technical awareness of banking systems, channels, and processes highly preferable
• Experience in managing key business partners is a must. Solid sales experience will be a plus
• Background in developing financial business cases and/or pricing
