M&A Data Research Associate

The Department:

Jonas UK, a division of the Jonas operating group of Constellation Software Inc., is an enterprise software leader in multiple verticals. The M&A Department has the mandate to increase Jonas' foothold in each of their domains, as well as achieve inorganic growth in other verticals.

The Position:

The M&A Data Research Associate will work with the Jonas UK M&A team to work through our M&A database, with the goal of researching names, numbers, data about the company, and the company profile. The associate will help to improve the quality of the data, and as a result help the team not only qualify but also contact prospect companies from a better position. This is an opportunity to gain experience in acquisitions and business development at a highly successful enterprise software company. Depending on the individual's performance and skillset, the scope of the role can evolve. The hired individual will be located and work out of the Contour Software Islamabad/Lahore office, working as part of the M&A team.

Responsibilities:

• Research 15 -20 Companies per day, to create a synopsis of the business, and to update contact information as well as organization vital stats.
• Update database daily, in order to help UK Seniors, perform their next steps.
• Perform various data related tasks, data cleansing, etc.
• Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Strong English written communication skills.
• Ability to review, synthesize and update prior contact history in CRM.
• Ability to research online, via websites, social media and other sources.
• Works proactively, with Persistence, Efficiency, Intelligence, and a Strong work ethic.
• Must possess excellent skills in MS Excel, specifically related to data management.
• Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM platforms beneficial.
• Prior experience in Data/Company/Online Research positions, as well as M&A roles.
• Prior experience in contact information research.
• Evidence of good verbal and written English skills.
