Restaurant Manager

Job Context

Bashundhara Amusement Park Ltd is planning to rope in restaurant business emphasized by passion of quality and excellence in food, atmosphere and service, are seeking bright and talented professionals;

Job Responsibilities

Must be able to communicate and understand in English and Bengali

Must be Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food & beverage menu planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, company policies and procedures, personnel management, record-keeping, and preparation of reports

Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food & beverage preparation and service

Must have good working knowledge of own area, market trends and industry changes

Manage shifts which include: daily decision making, scheduling and planning

Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues

Develop employees by providing on-going feedback, establishing performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews

Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs.

Prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is staffed for all shifts

Ensure positive guest service in all areas.

Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests

Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures

Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner

Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level, including delivery and toilet cleaning when and if needed

Communicate well on all aspects of weekly operations by leading weekly team management meetings

Suggest employment and termination opinions to management, if needed

Assist in developing, planning, and executing restaurant marketing, advertising, and promotional activities and campaigns

Should be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 kgs

Educational Requirements

Diploma in Hotel Management/ HSC

A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative

Experience Requirements

At least 2 year(s)

Additional Requirements

Age 27 to 34 years

Both males and females are allowed to apply

Good organization and administrative skills

Excellent attention to detail

Strong Microsoft and Excel skills

Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS system

Experience as a Restaurant Manager
