Media Specialist

• Working under the Team Leader and in close collaboration with the other Specialists, the Media specialist will ensure that the overarching communications objectives are articulated into clear, appropriate messages for target audiences with a focus on developing detailed, content for mass media, mobile, social media, print and community theatre. Specific responsibilities include:
• Developing television and radio concepts; scripts for theatre; billboard designs; website content; social media platform content and mobile messages
• Concept pre-testing with target segments and content revisions
• Supervising quality of content produced by selected vendors
• Collaborating with the Advocacy and Marketing Specialist to develop branding communication, prizes, advocacy giveaways, and innovative competitions.
• Support the development of modules and materials in Bengali (and English if required by the Client)
• Collaborate with the BCCM Training Specialists in the field to ensure that the creative concepts and corresponding messages developed are clearly articulated within the training curriculum and materials for the respective trainees; Train PMU, PIU and PA staffs on communication, as needed;
• Produce the Quarterly newsletter, website and social media updates and monitor it consistently for responsive actions.
• Supervise the delivery, proofing and copyright clearance of all content generated in the project.

Contractual

• Master of Arts (MA) in Mass Communication Journalism
• A Masters degree in Mass Communication with 10 years' experience in working on mass communication projects in Bangladesh and at least 7 years' experience in film and radio production, script writing is required.
