Admin Officer, Skill Development Programme

Job Context

BRAC is one of the world`s leading development organisation. Since 1972 BRAC is dedicated to alleviating poverty and empowerment of the poor. In continuation to that, BRAC has taken Humanitarian Crisis Management Project in Ukhia and Teknaf Upazila of Cox`s Bazar district to support the displaced people arriving from the Rakhine state of Myanmar

Job Responsibilities

Arrange and coordinate workshop & meeting

Ensure projects' procurement/ purchase requisition activities in coordination with procurement sector

Be responsible for logistics supports to sector

Assist programme team to ensure administrative supports

Ensure Bill Voucher payment comply with process

Prepare regular reports on expenses and budgets

Maintain and update sector databases

Organize a filing system for important and confidential sector documents

Answer queries by different programmes and clients

Maintain sector calendar and schedule of appointments

Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data as assigned

Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Bachelor degree in any discipline

Experience Requirements

At least 1 year(s)

The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

In relevant field

Additional Requirements

Should have good communication skill

Have sound knowledge in Microsoft office

Arrange different seminar related to service

Ability to work under pressure or in emergency situations

Have standard knowledge on related field.

Coaching, Counseling and presentation skill

Problem solving & decision making on different issue
