Mechanic, Refrigeration (BRAC Dairy and Food Project)
Job Responsibilities
- Install new refrigeration systems
- Perform preventive maintenance work of Ammonia refrigeration plant (Cold room, Chilled water system) as per schedule in order to avoid future problems or breakdowns
- To diagnosis the problem and repair & upgrade refrigeration system
- Perform corrective maintenance of Ammonia refrigeration plant in time
- Overhauling and trouble shooting of Ammonia refrigeration plant
- To keep documents of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, checklists, log sheets etc. properly and causes of malfunctions
- To play active role on optimization of the spare parts consumption
- Perform assigned maintenance works given by the supervisor
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of AC & Fridge
- Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Should be in good physical condition
- Understanding the operations of commercial and residential refrigeration systems
- Diagnosing malfunctions and defects in equipment
- Operating tools, gauges and other testing equipment for refrigeration systems
- Technical expertise on AC & Fridge,
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work both independently and in teams as needed
