Radiographer/Junior Radiographer (BRAC Health Enterprise)
Job Responsibilities
- Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations
- Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort
- Performing diagnostic imaging to obtain clear, usable images
- Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to preventunnecessary exposure to radiation.
- Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updatingpatients' records.
- Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment
- Perform basic Patient Care activities e.g. providing instruction and assisting patients with generalhygiene and personal care activities e.g. changing patient's clothing
- Assist doctors or radiographers in examination rooms e.g transferring patients onto examinationcouch, act as chaperons, and preparing patients for radiological procedures.
- Assist the radiographer in data entry into Worklist, Radiology Information System
- Perform the daily Equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) for General X-Ray machine
- Comfortable with interacting with patients
- Administration duties
- Data collection
- Maintain the storage of request forms and assist in retrieving request forms from storage/ system
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation toachieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support,guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensurethe implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourageothers to do so.
