Manager Alumni Relations
Job Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the development and implementation of the university's Alumni Relations plan including communications and publicity, employer links, alumni benefits and services, events and activities, alumni associate-tions within Bangladesh and internationally
- To promote effective communications and co-ordination across the university on matters relating to alumni relations activities
- To organize alumni events and meetings
- To maintain web-based alumni resources
- To lead surveys on graduate/alumni destinations
- To ensure the establishment and maintenance of an effective alumni database
- To recruit and supervise staff and volunteers who may, from time to time, be assigned to support alumni relations
- To prepare the Alumni Relations budget
Additional Requirements
- Experience in alumni relations, fundraising, marketing and communications or a similar role
- Demonstrable ability to devise and implement an alumni relations plan
- Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver high quality events and communications
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with a wide range of people
- Strong project management skills. Statistical analysis skills would be desirable
- Good IT skills, including knowledge of the use of database systems and web maintenance
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible approach to work and positive response to changing requirements
- Ability to work to deadlines and handle multiple tasks or activities at any one time
- Must be self-motivated, hardworking and flexible regarding work hour
