Receptionist

Responsibilities & Context

Key Responsibilities

Manage the reception area, greeting visitors, students, faculty, and staff with professionalism and warmth

Handle incoming phone calls, transferring calls to the appropriate departments, and providing information as needed

Assist different vendors and visitors with inquiries, directions, and general information about the university and provide relevant cards for the necessary access control

Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages to the relevant departments

Provide support for university events, including guiding attendees and managing event-related inquiries

Assist with basic administrative tasks, as needed

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education from an accredited institution

Additional Requirements

Previous experience as a receptionist or in customer service role is an advantage

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in using office equipment and computer applications

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Professional and positive attitude
