Job Responsibilities
- Coordinating and communicating with internal departments, students, faculty members, staff, and parents regarding various activities of the Counseling Unit
- Attending desk queries and the Helpline number and providing Mental Health First Aid in emergency situations
- Organizing programs offered by Counseling Unit
- Supporting in organizing regular activities, seminars, training and workshops by doing various tasks, i.e. emailing, printing, reporting, documenting, and other administrative duties
- Implementing survey to collect relevant data to enhance service quality
- Preparing budgets and bills for specific programs and coordinating financial transactions of the Counseling Unit
- Placing requisitions for procurement
- Producing monthly, semester wise reports after processing the data of the services provided by the members of the Counseling Unit
Experience Requirements
Additional Requirements
- Having training on Mental Health First Aid, Communication Skills are preferred.
- At least 1 years of work experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bengali, both oral and written
- Solid knowledge of office procedures, strong organizational skills with problem solving attitude. Methodical approach to work and high level of attention to detail
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and service areas
- Flexible approach to work and positive response to changing requirements
