Software Test Engineer for Offshore Projects

We are looking for a test engineer who will work in offshore projects. He or she should be able to support the scrum team in verifying that the user stories comply with the "Definition of Done" and the software to be delivered meet quality standards. Job Responsibilities

You will verify user stories

You will design and maintain test cases, based on business requirements and derived user stories

You will review unit and integration tests

You will write automated test scrips [selenium]

You will execute both manual and automated tests

You will maintain requirement traceability [requirement --> user story --> test case]

You will submit problem reports in JIRA/Team Foundation Server and coordinate with the development team to get those issues fixed

You will arrange a sprint demo and present new features to project stakeholders [European customers]

Educational Requirements

You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science

Experience Requirements

At least 5 year(s)

You have an understanding of test principles (ISTQB level)

You have an understanding of Agile and Scrum principles related to software engineering

You have an understanding of automated testing

You are fluent in English

You have the ability to spot errors, faults, and failures and report them unambiguously

You are an enthusiastic and flexible person

You have strong analytical skill

You are a collaborative and positive team player

You have experience working in offshore software development projects

You have at least 5 years of experience as a test/QA engineer
