Senior Software Engineer (Android)
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy consumer Apps in Kotlin.
- Provide technical guidance to a team of android developers.
- Experience with MVVM design pattern, SQLite/ORM, exposure to external 3rd party libraries, Multithreading and Broadcast.
- Manage git feature/bugfix/and release branches and strong communication abilities.
- Assist in product feature breakdown and task assignment.
- Perform code reviews for other developers
- Hybrid (Flutter) app development is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure toward tight deadlines; willingness to learn, a can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being a proficient problem solver.
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 4 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Experience with third-party SDKs, Storyboards, push notifications, location services, and App lifecycle required.
- Experience with Dagger for DI, RxJava, full agile development
- Working knowledge with large codebases on enterprise-sized, mobile, financial applications.
- Experience with Android UI components/fragments and custom components, REST APIs, XML and JSON.
- 3+ years of Android experience
- 2+ years of experience with Kotlin and Java
- 1 or more years of experience with an understanding of Jenkins
- 2 or more years of experience with architecture patterns like MVVM and MVP
