Engineer /Asst. Engineer - Maintenance
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the overall operation of the machineries at optimum speed.
- Monitor machine maintenance schedule and execute accordingly Knit, Dyeing & Finishing machineries.
- Ensure that safety training is provided to staff and that proper safety practices are followed.
- Maintain effective working relationship and work in cooperation with the management team to effectively meet departmental and unit objectives.
- Take action in case of production related/machine related problems in the factory and solve accordingly.
- Maintain minimum stock level of spare parts and costing for spare parts consumption.
- Approve requisition to draw spare parts from the store for maintenance purpose.
- Perform periodic evaluations of subordinates and recommends and impalement discipline as required.
- Carry out any others jobs as assigned from time to time.
- Ensure safety quality and compliance activities in work place.
- Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs and manage their career development.
- Prepare and maintain all documents and provide these data to maintenance department along with the line managers.
- Assign manpower in different job as required for mechanical work.
- Prepare preventive maintenance schedule and take signature from the respective department head by 28th of each month for the next month maintenance program.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by management.

- 3 to 4 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Dyeing Factory
Additional Requirements
- Females are highly encouraged to apply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Bengali and English
- Well conversant in Microsoft Office Applications
- Candidates must have high interpersonal, communication, management skills, and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Willing to stay beside the factory at his own accord and provide emergency support any time when a critical situation arises in machine troubleshooting.
- Ownership mentality, dedicated to his responsibilities
