Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO)


Job Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning:
  • Plan and develops financial well-being of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services, preparing growth plans, and directing staff;
  • Develop organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects;
  • Analyze organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; and accumulating capital to fund expansion;
  • Plan the financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plans;
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure a disaster recovery plan is in place, business insurance plans and health care coverage analysis;
  • Strategic Operations:
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team;
  • Lead and organize finance strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis;
  • Lead the budget process and the development of the annual operating and capital budgets of the Group;
  • Recommend strategic thinking and establish functional objectives in line with organizational goal;
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiate corrective actions and minimizing the impact of variances;
  • Prepare timely and accurate analyses, summaries, and reports of financial data on the operating progress of the company;
  • Create a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting structure that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operational needs;
  • Maximize return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintain relationships with the investment community;
  • Reports financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing variances, and developing improvements;
  • Accomplishes finance by completing related results as needed and improve efficiency related to billing, reporting, revenue recognition, payments, receivable, etc.;
  • Risk Management:
  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's financial risk profile;
  • Construct and monitor reliable control systems and ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Ensure adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that all purchases may pass independent and governmental audits;
  • Manage record keeping to meet the requirements of stake holders and concern regulatory authorities
  • Report risk issues to the Management Committee as well as the Board of Directors;
  • Management Reports & Analytics:
  • Coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue/expense and reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organizational contract;
  • Prepare and represent monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports with all applicable Financial Accounting Standards, Internal Revenue Service and other relevant regulations;
  • Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, identify areas of cost reduction and process enhancement;
  • Analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives;
