Deputy Manager - Monitoring

Job Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility to assist to develop and rolling out the M&E plan/frame work that will contribute to program monitoring and evaluation and reporting according to the program result-frame/log-frame, and established indicators of measurement of the progress as well as verification/ validation of the interventions.
  • Support projects in designing and conducting the baselines/ KAP surveys/end-line evaluations of the project.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, timeliness and management of the data collected(mainly qualitative) from the field, will provide support to project staff in effectively providing monitoring and other related data on key indicators thereby ensuring program's alignment to results agreed with the donor in the project proposal.
  • Provide expert technical guidance related to all monitoring and evaluation functions
  • Draft concept papers for tasks related to monitoring, evaluations, assessments, and analysis
  • Plan and budget for project monitoring activities, evaluations, and assessments
  • Collaboration with MIS/Data team
  • Design and planning of M&E methodologies
  • Contribute to written reports and other deliverables.

Educational Requirements
  • Master Degree in any discipline, Development Studies / Social Science from reputed university is preferable.
  • Advanced degree and at least 3years relevant professional experience directly related to monitoring and evaluation for donor-funded programs/projects.
