Assistant Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the supply chain in executing the best practices and measuring performance through agreed up Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
- Develop appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes and ensure optimum utilization of resources
- Collaborate with other cross-functional departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Resolve any process deviation and take corrective action with a team
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors and ensure more profitable deals
- Ensure market survey to develop alternative suppliers for price competitiveness, improved quality & enhanced sourcing.
- Ensure communication with supplier regularly to overcome all sorts of difficulties or issues that might occur during sourcing or to meet on-time delivery and for any return or replacement due to quality problem
- Inform concerned senior officials if any discrepancies happen
- Carry out any other job assigned by the management.
