Paramedic/ Medical Assistant (Female)

Job Responsibilities

• Friendship is looking for Paramedics for its floating hospital. The core responsibilities include:
• Screen, counsel and provide health, nutrition and family planning services including treatment of water borne diseases with prescription to the customer from satellite clinics.
• Provide antenatal and postnatal care and family planning counseling,
• Manage (treat or refer) customer with method related side effects/complication;
• Identifying pregnant women, sick children and adult requiring special care and referral services
• Ensure quality and standard(s) with regard to rational drug use, infection prevention, clean and hygienic medical facilities and equipment
• Provide awareness counselling on Cervical cancer screening and treatment.
• Keep service records of all care provided and submit report to Health Supervisor.
• Prepare monthly work plan in coordination with other Paramedics with the support of Program Manager (Health).
• Maintain stock of medicines and contraceptives
• Maintain stock for all clinical equipment

Educational Requirements

• 1-3 Years paramedic training from Bangladesh Technical Education Board (certificate in paramedical technology) /18-month training of FWV from any government FWVTI/1year paramedic training from Gonoshahtya/Community medical college, Mogbager, Dhaka
