HI's and the consortium's external influence by taking part in networks, when required. Communicate about the project to partners, authorities, and stakeholders when relevant. Mission 2: Emergency Preparedness and Response Contribute to the programme's emergency preparedness initiatives, and in an emergency, adapt his/her working arrangements to contribute to an effective humanitarian response from HI/Consortium.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation Science (OT/PT/P&O, SLT), Disability Studies, Inclusive Education. Preferable - Master's in a relevant discipline.

Additional Requirements

Age at least 18 years

At least 2 years' experience working on the same thematic, preferably in development and humanitarian contexts Experience and comprehensive understanding of disability issues, awareness-raising, and training material development/training implementation Experience working in a remote community setting is an advantage Proven analytical and planning skills Knowledge of disability and development issues in Bangladesh Have the capacity to maintain close relationships with partners, stakeholders, and clients Experience in contributing to data collection and indicator tracking within development projects or programs Computer knowledge (MS Office package- both in English and Bangla) Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written Bangla and English Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural team environment Availability to travel to remote areas and spend time at the field level Strong teamwork approach
