Room/ Public Area Attendant

Job Responsibilities

• Enter and prepare the room for cleaning & make bed.
• Dust the room and furniture.
• Replenish guestroom and bath supplies.
• Clean the bathroom & closet.
• Vacuum and rack the carpet.
• Check and secure the rooms.
• Replenish amenities according to the operational standard.
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards.
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning etc.) as required.
• Clean guest bathroom/bed room/floor corridor.
• Responsible for replenishment of guest complimentary water.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and maintained of his work area.
• Attend to guest calls, guest request/guest complaints in the area assigned to him.
• Authorize to enter in guestrooms for cleaning and providing turn down services as per requirement.
• Responsible for the Hotel property in the work area.
• Responsible for following the standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum S.S.C.
• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management would be an asset.

Additional Requirements

• Age 20 to 25 years
• Only males are allowed to apply
• Must be able to speak & write good English.
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications.
• Internet marketing knowledge is an added advantage.
• Overall confidence to handle clients.
• Knowledge of administrative procedures.
• Must have a pleasant & positive personality.
