Job Responsibilities
- Overall Responsibilities:
- The role of the Trainer-Tailoring (tailoring master) is to develop skills of Rohingya women in making bags from different processed materials like Aluminium foil sheets. He/She will also be responsible for designing a training manual for the beneficiaries along with identify potential marketing opportunities of the bags produced by the beneficiaries.
- Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop training module/plan on making carry bags from different processed materials like aluminium foil.
- Developing new designs for bags with technical support from external agencies
- Developing criteria and assist Community Mobilizers' in the field to select potential beneficiaries for taking part in the training.
- Ensuring procurement of all training materials (sewing machines and other materials) in consultation with the 'Centre in Charge'.
- Organize non-residential tailoring training courses/ refresher training sessions at camp level for the Rohingya beneficiaries
- Ensuring proper maintenance of the sewing machines.
- Supervise the bag making process of the trainees and keep records of the amount of production per day.
- Ensuring availability of processed materials for the trainees for bag production
- Select and engage local resources (local trainers) as co-facilitators for the courses.
- Identify and locate resources and services from internal and external (UP, Govt, NGOs) sources for the participants.
- Identifying potential marketing opportunities for the produced bags.
- Participate in meetings, events organized by other stakeholders and represent the project and ICCO Cooperation properly
- Prepare and submit reports monthly/ weekly as required by the projects and the supervisors
- The duties and responsibilities may change as per requirements.

Educational Requirements
- Education minimum Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent degree from the technical or vocational institutes.
