Environmental Health Officer (COVID-19 Response)

Primary Responsibilities:

With the support of the Clinical Supervisor, conduct assessments and technical surveys on new and existing water and Sanitation in Health facilities.

Under the guidance of Clinical Supervisor, monitor the effective water delivery systems, excreta disposal facilities and medical waste disposal systems.

Train and supervise the Hygienists and related staffs.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 1 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • At least 6 months working experience in WASH in COVID Response
  • Significant professional experience in design and implementation of water projects.
  • Competent communication skills, effective in representation and liaison.
  • Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well.
  • Qualified Engineer with experience in designing health and WASH infrastructure in emergencies.
  • Strong leadership, management, planning, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to live and work in stressful and insecure environment.
  • Competent user of MS Applications: Word, Excel; ACAD or similar.
  • Knowledge of English and local language spoken in the area.
