Manager - Yarn Procurement

Responsibilities & Context

Manager – Yarn Procurement will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring a steady and cost-effective supply of high-quality yarn to meet the production needs.

Generating and implementing efficient sourcing and procurement management policies.

Managing and purchasing orders and making payments as well managing transport.

Following – Up merchandising, production & yarn dispatchment.

Optimizing sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.

Maintaining Vendors assessment for continuous developing a pool of good vendors and building a long-term sustainable relationship with them.

Conducting a market survey on a regular basis to forecast demand of yarn.

Developing proper MIS for monitoring & control of all indents.

Keeping a check on issuance and consumption of yarn.

Negotiating and Re-negotiating vendor contracts in favor of the company.

Sourcing potential suppliers on a regular basis, Evaluating Suppliers' qualification & proposals through comparative study and preparation of Purchase Orders.

Ensure that all practices are consistent with company guidelines and regulations.
