Advocacy Officer

Job Responsibilities

Play networking and advocacy role with the Govt. agencies, UN-bodies, other NGOs, different relevant stakeholders, different groups of the civil society regarding partnership and collaboration.

Organize and facilitate advocacy meetings, workshops, seminars, discussions, etc. with media, sectoral stakeholders, LGIs and so on.

Conduct advocacy related activities and prepare documents from the outcomes of discussions, meetings, symposium, WatSan fair, case study, other advocacy activities and initiatives.

Attend various internal and external meetings regarding advocacy topics or issues and respond to questions and inquiries from various individuals, groups and organizations.

Perform other relevant duties as required for the project as well as the organization.

Educational Requirements

M. Sc Development Studies / Social Science / Anthropology / Political Science / Disaster Management and relevant subjects and experiences.

Experience Requirements

3 to 5 year(s)

Development Agency, NGO

Additional Requirements

Age at most 40 years

Both males and females are allowed to apply

Practical work experience in WASH sectors with WASH focusing with humanitarian and CATS Approaches.

Medium in English (written/verbal)

Team management- Ability to work under limited supervision - Dynamism - Good report writing ability - Computer skills
