Southeast University (SEU) was established in June 2002 by the Southeast University Foundation - a non-profit, non-political and philanthropic organization. The vision of Southeast University is to flourish as a prestigious seat of learning in the South Asian region. As a center of excellence, it aims at attracting students from all countries of the region. Its mission is to brand SEU as the center of academic, research, service excellence and making it a pro student university. Its goal is to provide excellent modern education for students with a view to equipping them with the skill and knowledge necessary to lead the country in its quest for development. Till date, more than 25,000 students have graduated from the university and around 1000 students graduate every year.
