Cook (At Hostel)

Job Responsibilities

• Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
• Setting up menus and preparing high quality dishes by consult with Hostel assistant and maximize involvement of customer's opinion preparing high-quality dishes
• Cook food in a timely manner
• Delegate task to customer who would like to support kitchen
• Monitor food stock and place orders
• Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
• Ensure everybody in RI building has met their need and in healthy both physically and mentally.
• Close collaborate with other RI department and other services providers to support needs of customers
• Ensure written report to Hostel In-charge of the highest quality and completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure recognized international best practices and Relief International key policies and Code of Conduct.
• Any other responsibilities as requested by direct supervisor

Educational Requirements

• Diploma in cooking or performance chef course.

• Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
• Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
• Excellent time management abilities
• Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes Familiarity with sanitation regulations
