Data Entry Operator
Job Responsibilities
- The Data Entry Operator (DEO) plays a key role to digitize data from different hard copy documents into the prescribed computer database, files, forms, and online Tools. S/he will maintain very good working relationships with field staff to ensure the quality of data that will pass through the Data quality assessment (DQA) Process.
- Profile Review, coding, compile and categories documents for data entry
- Enter data from source documents into the prescribed computer database, files, and forms
- Collect and enter data to the server via online tools
- Verify data and correct data where necessary by comparing it to source documents
- Resolving discrepancies and missing information
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations as part of a contingency plan
- Update existing data and retrieve data from the database as requested
- Maintain records of activities and tasks
- Comply with data confidentiality, integrity, and security policies of the organization
- Maintain a filing system of the hard copy data sheet in a systematic way to ensure the safekeeping of confidential materials;
- The entered data should be accurate so that it can pass through the Data quality assessment (DQA) Process
- Other duties as assigned by the management
