Job Context

The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is an international faith based organization which is committed to change the lives of persons affected by leprosy working in Bangladesh since 1991. The Leprosy Mission International Bangladesh (TLMI-B) is working as partner of Government of Bangladesh to eliminate the cause and consequences of leprosy. TLMI-B is a member of TLM Global fellowship which is active in over 50 countries to achieve its vision `leprosy defeated, lives transformed`. Currently, it invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates for Dhaka and Gaibandha Program area for the following position:

Job Nature: Project based

This is a senior project staff position which will provide technical support to enhance the skills of GoB Health System staff as well as project staff on leprosy and leprosy related complication and managing complication caused by leprosy at UHC as well as in the community. It will support the project taking appropriate health intervention that support the people affected by leprosy and disability. The position is responsible to build and sustainable relationship with GoB health system.

Job Responsibilities

Arrange necessary training in coordination with project staff for GoB health personnel.

Facilitate Leprosy and leprosy complication management training for GoB health staff.

Provide on job technical support to Govt staff at UHC and City Corporation area.

Support project to make and implement appropriate health interventions.

Provide hands on training to UHC staffs for providing appropriate treatment to the people affected by leprosy.

Need to frequent field visit as per project needs.

Educational Requirements

Must have an MBBS degree. Training on Leprosy and experience in related field will get preference.

Must have a registration from BMDC.

Salary

BDT 50,000-55,000 (negotiable based on experience) gross per month plus other benefit and allowances as per organization policy
