Japan Considering to Set Up a Technology Up gradation Fund with Pakistan

Charge d’ Affairs Embassy of Japan in Pakistan, Yusuke Shindo, called on Abdul Razak Dawood, the Advisor to Prime Minister for Commerce, Textile, Industry, and Production, and Investment on Thursday.

The meeting took place at the Ministry of Commerce and discussed issues related to investment and bilateral trade. On the occasion, PM’s adviser highlighted that the fisheries sector of the country needs improvement. He said the existing infrastructure of the industry, including Karachi’s fish harbor was in dire need of development.

During the meeting, the two dignitaries discussed establishing a technology up-gradation fund to strengthen the manufacture base of the country.
