Site Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Site Operations team. You will be working closely with our development and infrastructure architecture group to make our platform highly available and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring sites and infrastructure.

• Participate in on-call rotation.

• Triaging and addressing production issues.

• Develop automation solutions to infrastructure problems.

• Improve and maintain CI and Deploy tools.

• Use tools such as Splunk and New Relic to detect, escalate, and resolve issues.

• Manage outage notifications to concerned stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Experience

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• 2-3 years of experience in web application programming and deploying, maintaining distributed services.

• Familiar with Computer Science fundamentals data structures, algorithms.

• Experience with 2 or more programming languages (preferably Python and C#).

• Experience with PowerShell.

• Solid understanding of Windows and Linux OS.

• Experience with virtualized environments.

• Familiar with Splunk and New Relic.

• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Cloud experience AWS or Azure will be a huge bonus.
