Subsidy Associate

Job Description

Work closely with regional and local teams to

Roll out and maintain the new internal promotional tool / system

Support end-to-end implementation including preparation of guide and education of local team

Define campaigns objectives and recommend appropriate settings to be adopted

Analyze and derive insights on future enhancements on promo tool

Develop customer segments (audience creation) and the strategies to be adopted in conjunction with the tool

Maintain knowledge bank on tools, including best practices and case studies to be shared across markets

Monitor and analyze promotion mechanism performances and derive learnings for future campaigns optimizations

Coordinate best practices and knowledge sharing among markets

Establish and maintain overall knowledge bank on subsidy management

Use your problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify trends, conduct root cause analyses, and generate high-impact, ad-hoc analyses.

Work with the Subsidy Manager to ensure close monitoring of promotion budgets and performances regionally to ensure optimized spends within budget

Support coordination of weekly reviews on promotion budget with local markets

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a top university in a quantitative subject - a background in business, mathematics, economics, quantitative finance preferred

At least 2-3 years of experience, preferably in e-commerce or other similar domains, or Master’s degree with a year of experience.

Go-getter attitude, willing to immerse themselves in the business, with a proactive approach to getting things done

Superior organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, and the flexibility to adapt to changing scope and evolving business requirements

Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills to manage priorities with tight deadlines without compromising quality

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English

Good track record of delivering insightful and actionable analyses and recommendations to drive business improvements

Good track record of managing business projects/tools from roll out to maintenance, and improvements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to successfully negotiate with different stakeholders across various business environments and cultures; fluent in English

Advanced Excel for forecasting, reporting & monitoring

Intermediate SQL knowledge base would be a bonus point
