Recruitment, Selection and Matriculation Campaign Manager

Job Location: The position is based at TFN House, Kathmandu with regular visits to working areas and communities as required.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Role Summary: The role of Recruitment, Selection and Matriculation (RSM) Campaign Manager is to lead the recruitment and selection of outstanding university graduates and young professional as Teach for Nepal Fellows.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire development, design, and implementation of recruitment and selection process along with developing necessary partnerships and networks. Responsibilities fall into the following areas, which include, but are not limited to:

Develop Fellowship recruitment & selection strategy;

Develop recruitment campaigns including marketing and communication plans;

Lead an aggressive recruitment campaign strategy to ensure application from pre-identified key talents within universities and amongst young professionals;

Lead recruitment campaigns, and events to inform and influence exceptional talents;

Oversee selection process including application review, interviews, and in-person assessments

Build relationships with key stakeholders;

Persistently pursue, support and guide candidates through the recruitment process;

Cultivate potential talent;

Create and maintain important networks with universities;

Maintain a database on potential recruitment pools including but not limited to universities in Nepal and abroad;

Recruit, manage and motivate recruitment staff, interns and campus representatives;

Continuously, evaluate campaigns and make recommendations for improvement;

Gather market intelligence for the recruitment strategy and overall TFN functions;

Provide advice and support as and when needed to other team members.

Qualification and experiences:

Masters degree required (MBA with Marketing or other related field);

Substantial experience in managing events, projects and programs with experience in leading teams;

Experience in developing partnership and networking;

Experience with youth is desirable

Competencies:

Aligned with Teach For Nepal values, and demonstrate a strong belief and commitment to the movement;

Understanding of issues in education and education inequality in Nepal;

Be outcome driven and have the ability to plan and prioritize one’s work to meet deadlines;

Demonstration people-skills in building authentic relationships with internal and external collaborators.

Strong speaking and writing skills in both Nepali and English languages;

Flexible approach to working hours;

Pragmatic, sociable, reflective, and highly energetic;

Willing to travel within Nepal, some international travel might be required;

Strong computer competency including PowerPoint;
